Obituary for Ruby J. Wheaton

Ruby  J.  Wheaton
Ruby Jane (Harvey) Wheaton was born Sept 15,1941 in Carmanville south to parents Sandy and Ettie Harvey. At the age of 16 Heber and Ruby were married on Dec 18, 1957. They moved to Frederickton shortly after from Carmanville. They raised and cared for three children, Wanda (Ches) Woolfrey, Sharon (Craig) Harnett and Tammy Wheaton (Wade Walsh). She was very proud of her six grandchildren Angela, Alaina, Amy, Alicia, Abagail, Alyssa and four great grandchildren; Nathan, Chayse, Lincoln, Charlie. Predeceased by her parents Sandy & Ettie (Coles) Harvey and brother Kenneth Harvey. She also leaves to morn brothers Larry Harvey, of Middle Arm , NL, Albert (Elsie) Harvey Middle Arm, NL,; sisters Lorraine (Bruce) Goodyear of Badgers Quay , NL, Sadie (Edward) Park of Frederickton, NL, and Linda (Oliver) Burton Edmonton Alberta.
Ruby was a quiet woman with a great sense of humor who always enjoy a great laugh and kept this humour right until the end. Ruby was a true and loyal friend to those closest to her.
At a very early age she developed a talent for playing the accordion which she shared with her church. She played on the platform and wore the Salvation Army uniform. Her faith carried her through the ups and downs of life, and it was this strength in the Lord that was with her until her very last breath. Ruby passed on Jan 28, surrounded by her family at James Paton Memorial Hospital.
