It is with profound sadness that the Hearn and Matthews family announce the graceful passing of Francis Hearn on January 24, 2018, surrounded by his wife and daughter. A gentle and honest man, kind and loving to all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Mary, Brothers; Eugene & David, Sisters; Mary, Patricia, & Kathleen, nephew Tim and sister in law Eloise. Mother and Father in law Douglas and Lucy Matthews, brother in laws Steve Matthews, Harvey Fancy, Robert Hounsell, William Matthews, and nephew Bertie Lee Rogers. He will forever be in the hearts of his family; Catherine, loving wife of 51 years; daughter Wanda (Edward Dyke), the love of his life - his grandchildren Myranda, Rileigh and Jonathan and great-grandson Carter Grouchy. Brothers; Mike (Gen), Vince (Sandy), Billy (Sharon), Gerry (Rosalie), Andy, Phonsie & Peter, Sisters; Madeline (Dave McGrath), Ann Marie (Steve), & Valerie (Dean Whitten) Brothers-in-law; Gerald (Emma), Clarence (Elizer), Clayton (Dallis), Jethro (Verna), Sisters-in-law: Beatrice (Morris), Pearl (Cecil), Donna (Vince), Jackie & Irma Matthews and a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Special niece Janine Matthews. Family will receive friends and family at Caul's on LeMarchant Road on Friday, January 26th from 10am - 9pm and 10am-12pm on Saturday, January 27th followed by Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church Petty Harbor at 1:00 pm. Visitation at Sincerely Yours Funeral Home, 421 Pickergills Blvd. Centerville - Wareham. on Sunday January 28th from 10am - 9pm. Burial Service to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Memory of to the Mental Health Association of NL or St. John the Baptist Church Wareham NL
