The Rideout families are saddened to announce the passing of Eli, he was 76 years young. He passed peacefully away in the presence of his devoted family in Gander, NL at his son’s residence. Predeceased by his parents Hilda & Ira Rideout, sister Elizabeth Yates, brother-in-law Jack Wicks, son-in-law Carson Preston. He leaves to mourn with fond and treasured memories beloved wife Bernice (Brenton) of 55 years; children Carrie (Mackenzie) Rogers, Eileen Preston, Billy (Trina) Rideout, Bernice (Ryan) Rogers; brothers Pearce (Rebecca) Rideout, Fred (Yvonne) Rideout, Bill (Marilyn) Rideout, Melvin (Priscilla) Rideout; Minnie Wicks, Sadie (Ralph) Brown; brother-in-law Roy Yates; grandchildren Leonard (Nancy), Justin(Trish), Adrian, Joshua; great grandchildren Jaden, Hayley, Evan, Chloe, Ryder, Fenyx, Dani, Jabez. Eli was well loved and will be forever remembered by family and friends.
