Condolence From: Donna, Curt & Matthew Beverley
Condolence: Myrtle and family, I remember Bill very well from my childhood. As a child, Bill always made time for conversation with me during his visits on Prince of Wales Street; this always amazed me. I was hypnotized by his range of topics and expertise; that continued into adulthood. I also remember very well attending your wedding with mom. Bill was a gentleman and a gentle man; who could forget that smile! Besides the tremendous loss to his family, the loss of Bill's contribution to his community will also be felt. What a wonderful legacy to leave. Linda and I were to drive early tomorrow morning for the funeral but due to her invasive medical test today, it had to be postponed. We will make the trip for an overnight visit next week. Thinking of you Myrtie. Love you my darling girl.

Condolence: I feel so fortunate that I had the privilege of meeting and working with Bill through the Cape Freels Heritage Trust and the Barbour Living Heritage Village. What a wonderful person - a gentleman and a gentle spirit. Though our association was relatively short in the span of a lifetime, I felt the warmth and caring that he had for people and for his home and community. I considered him a friend and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as you celebrate Bill's life and say goodbye to such a special person as he leaves this place to begin another journey - gone from your sight but always treasured in your hearts.

He was my first teacher, my friend, someone I had so much respect for and loved with all my heart. He did Templeman so proud! Wish I could be there to share in your loss. May God grant you all the courage and strength you need in the days ahead. My heart is warmed though knowing he has gone to be with aunt Clara and Marion. Love you all. God bless.
