Obituary for Phoebe Rogers

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phoebe Rogers announce her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on December 17, 2015 at the age of 88. Phoebe was a member of the A.C.W. and she retired from Canada Post. She is predeceased by husband; Stephen Rogers, father; Thomas Stuckless, mother; Louisa Ricketts. brothers; John, William, George, and Allan, and sisters; Annie, Betty and Naomi. Phoebe leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons; Dermot (Jocelyn) of Cartyville, Kenneth (Irene) of Crooked Lake, daughters; Pauline (Harvey) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Joan (Gaetan) of Montreal, Louise (Paul) of Manuels, and Lynn-Nicole (Robert) of St. John’s. Also leaving to mourn are brothers; Wilf and Luke Stuckless, sisters; Gladys and Florence, grandchildren; Janice, Stephen, Claudette, Shonne, Mitch, Brad, Kelsie, Catherine, Noel, Dan, Phobe, Mackenzie, and twelve great-grandchildren. Rev. Roy Martin will conduct the funeral service at the St. Albans Anglican Church, Trinity, on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Albans Cemetery. Pallbearers are Stephen Parsons, Harvey Parsons, Paul Frecker, Robert Bragg, Daphne Osmond, Ruby Curlew and honorary pallbearer Sean Fitzgerald. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes and Jennifer Pender of Sincerely Yours Funeral Home.
